SILVER PLATE SOUTHPORT MOTOR CLUB BEACH RACE 1925 HARRY LANGMAN TT RACER EPERGNE ... Click images to enlarge Description A Bit of a rarity here with this old Motor Racing trophy from Southport Motor Club Beach Races in 1925, I was looking up the history of these races online and it stated they started in 1926 but this is clearly engraved 1925 and was awarded to Harry Langman who also raced in the IOM TT.
An Imressive pece of silver plate in its own right it is a 4 trumpet or fluted epergne which is a type of table flower vase or table decoration. It is almost 17" (43cm) high and about 12.5" (32cm) across, the flutes lift out as shown, it does need some more patient polishing I gave it some earlier and got fed up !

Most of my listings have a 99p start with no reserve so if you are the only bidder then it is yours for 99p !
