It was manufactured in limited quantities at Kilfitt works in Munich. In the year the lens was introduced Kilfitt company merged with Zoomar, so the lens went into production under the trade mark of Zoomar Muenchen.It was the Zoomar brand name th...at gave rise to the "zoom" lens nomenclature.With a complicated design - 17 elements! - it is exceptionally build and its quality makes it a very sought collector's piece.
