you are buying a stunning vintage Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace - i think it is sterling Silver and Turquoise coral but i don"t have a way to test the metal content sold as is as pictured and described the lady i got this item from told me it was her great great grandmothers who married a Navajo Indian in the 1930s this item was a wedding gift from the mans mother who gave it to his sons bride from what the woman told me it was passed down from h...er great grandmother at her wedding to her grandmother at her wedding then to her mother at her wedding and on to her at her wedding she had two sons who got married and they did not take a interest in this so she has decided to pass it along to another loving family she told me she thinks this may date back to the 1800s from what the family rumors are i can not say for sure the exact age of this item so it is sold as is as pictured i can not say exact date of manufacture or maker i did some research and can not find another exactly like it i think its is called the pomegranate design and simple beads i think this makes it older as it doesn't have a classic naja design this is made up of simple looking silver beads each bead is 6mm wide there are 4 single squash blossoms and one double middle squash blossom each are 40mm long 24mm wide they all have one red coral stone aprox 6mm wide 10mm tall and each have turquoise stone aprox 8 to 10 mm wide and tall i looked this over top to bottom there seem to be no makers marks i can find this is a great one of a kind necklace all items sold as is as pictured and described
