Excellent condition for its age a 0.5 litre stein , no wear or tear to lid/hinge, closes perfectly, no cracksVery, very slight chip/nibble to the edge to left hand nostril - please see photo 8
Only noticed when examining it to sell - been there years and looks part of the stein , unless you scrutinize it!Also now relisting as noticed tiny piece of right side jawbone Photo 12 has broken off - doesnt come up to the cheek bone.Only noticed when comparing to left s...ide!

This beer stein has been made in Germany around 1920s by Ernst Bohne Sohne. Bohne skull steins are the company’s most recognizable icons, perhaps best exemplified by the (Skull on Book) stein, which was particularly popular in its day among German student societies.
