A superb antique HUKIN and Heath silver plated and double glass butter and jam dish with a lovely silver plated mother of pearl butter knife and jam spoon, the stand is in beautiful condition with no plate loss and has a lovely mirrored shine, it does have superficial marks of use, it has a lovely ribbed handle and stands on four large ball feet, the glass has a deep cut decoration with a star cut bottom they do have some very small nibbles on the outer edge and a small smooth chip but... it does not detract from their look or use, the mother of pearl butter knife and spoon have no plate loss and the handles have no chips, the stand is stamped underneath with the makers mark, any squiggles orange light or shadows is just reflection. The stand measures 19.7cm long x 13.5cm wide x 11cm high to the top of the handle , the glass measures 12.7cm long x 8.8cm wide x 3.5cm deep, it weighs 796 grams unpacked.
