A rare vintage Ramones t-shirt that includes the drummer "Richie" in the presidential seal logo. He was the drummer from '83 to '87 so there aren't many of these around. The most common version of this t-shirt has "Tommy" on the logo. This shirt was originally purchased at a Ramones show at The Living Room in Providence, RI in June 1986. There has been one owner, me!
Note the X detail on the Presidential seal graphic. This is a VERY rare. The much more common version shows 4 c...olumns of arrowheads/triangles which mimic the look of the flag shield on the actual Presidential seal. Please look at other Ramones shirts on ebay and elsewhere and you will almost never see this version. A quick search right now shows only ONE other vintage print like this on ebay. Reagan was President in 1986 and the Ramones clearly did not approve. I'll leave it to your imagination about how this might be relevant in 2019.
Fair to Good condition. It has the perfect aesthetic and punk rock fade. Tons of life left in this shirt. Think of all the time and effort people invest in making a shirt look worn and torn just right. The black dye is fading unevenly in some areas and there are pinholes. See photos. If you are looking for new t-shirt please look elsewhere.
