Up for auction is this awesome spindle whorl bead! These were commonly used long ago as a piece to a Weaver’s loom. They were often worn as beads after they had been retired. This one is pretty large! It is made of a dark clay. It is a very decorative design. This piece looks like it is a similar style to some pre columbian ones that I have seen, however it also looks African. I have had people tell me both. I’m not exactly sure where it originated from and this not very sure how o...ld it is!! It looks awesome! Don’t pass it up!
