Offered is an 8" x 10" original 1909 photo mounted on a 10" x 14" backing, a very early Lord & Rhoades Studio in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan cabinet photo.  The Andrew S. Upson was launched in Cleveland in 1909 for the Tecumseh Steamship Company, so this is a very early photo of her in the Soo Locks  The photo and cardboard matting are not perfect, but in very good condition, considering it is over one hundred years old (check and enlarge all photos provided, including a h...istory of the steamer provided by the previous owner).  This is one of several vintage cabinet photos I will be offering in coming weeks purchased from the collection of an early St. Clair River diver in order to get one of the Steamer Peter Reiss.
