A vintage 1920s Art Deco period Sterling silver standard card case. The case with detailed geometric engine turned decoration to the gently curved sides sits comfortably in the hand and measures 3.25 in (84 mm) x 1.65 in (40 mm). It is fully and clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 with Makers initials J.G Ltd (Joseph Gloster Ltd). The case has an obolong vacant catouche to the front and a total weight of 49.3 g. It has a good strong hinge and the case closes securely.It is ...in very good condition with no damage i.e. dents splits etc..... A stylish, lovely quality case which would make a great addition to anyones collection, display or for use etc...
