This is a small barrel made from the timber (teak) of HMS TERRIBLE.It measures approx 5.5cm (2 1/4"). It weighs 55gms. It is in good condition.This piece has no cracks. There is quite a few light peripheral scratches and indents due to its age.

The metal plate states: "From the teak of HMS Terrible whose guns relieved Ladysmith".
