An antique Chinese three-footed blue and white cylindrical container. Could be a brushpot, planter, or vase.
Heavily potted and painted to depict three figures approaching an immortal. Dates to the late 19th Century or early 20th century, and has an old Jian Ding was seal on the base. From an estate sale in north shore Milwaukee.
Condition: Wear consistent with age and handling, including many minor scr...atches in the interior and exterior of the piece, some more visible than others. Very minor chips on the base, and kiln firing imperfections which are evident in the glaze (see photos). No cracks and no repairs.
