Heddon Ice Fishing Decoy, Series # 400. Four point wings, all marked "Heddon Dowagiac", Inch Worm line tie, Glass Eyes. Color is (was) Perch Scale 9A. Five (5) Belly Weights. Decoy has lost most of its paint. Front point of the nose, all the belly weight area and tail area is down to wood. Lure is structurally sound. Side fins, tail fin, line tie, belly weights and glass eyes are very solid and tight. Two hook pointers on right side. None of the five belly weights are protuding. Belly ...and all five belly weights are very smooth. Not sure when the decoy was made but definitely before 1928. Solid, rare Heddon Ice Decoy. Wish it was in better condition.
