FOWEY RIVER VINTAGE WATCHES
Fully serviced with a 12 month warranty. This is a very fine example of a ladies classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega. The watch is the calibre 252 manual winding movement movement, this is the very rare and earlie...st of movements. The dial is quite superb having been fully restored. It has the Omega symbol on the winding crown. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition. As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class, this is a classic ladies watch. The watch case measures 22mm in diameter not including the crown.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
