Beautiful Cobalt Blue Glass FISHING FLOAT BUOY BALL w/Netting & Pontil (8.5" D, 26" C)
Description of item...Here we have a beautiful vintage cobalt blue glass FISHING FLOAT BUOY BALL with a bottom pontil (or punty), covered with light brown rope netting - topping to a sturdy twisted hanging form. It measures approx. 8 1/2" in mid diameter (or 26" in circumference) x 1 1/4" in pontil diameter, add 9" for the hanging form. It is in very good maintained (displayed used) aged condi...tion with no chips, cracks, or any damage noted. Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, found hanging in a nautical/maritime decorated den room, however the exact age is unknown. This item weighs approx. 2 1/2 lbs., add 2 1/2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. I currently have a larger and matching emerald green FLOAT on auction.
