Offered here is a vintage and RARE Commodore 1540 disk drive that was issued by Commodore to be used with the Commodore Vic 1001, VC or VIC 20 computer. Drive is in exceptional condition considering its age. No obvious yellowing. very clean. Drive was tested to load a directory and software. No further testing done. These are scarce drives. This one has the original ROM (often replaced with a 1541 ROM). Any computer or Commodor...e collector would be proud to display it. This comes from my personal collection. 220V. For an added fee, I can convert to 110v on buyers request. Because of the nature of vintage electronics the drive is sold "as is" - "parts or repair".
