Superb “upright grand” player piano, circa 1920, made byJ&L Safren, New York. Flame-grained and burled walnut veneer with hand-carvedand turned pedestal legs. Non-motorized. Completely restored in 1968 and workingexcellently. The taller than normal soundboard and plate allow for extra longbass strings, giving the piano an unusually deep, melodious sound. Last tuned in2017. Serial No. 18024. Outside dimensions 66 ½” wide x 56 ¼” high x 29 ¼”deep. Located in Austin, Texa...s, where it must be picked up by the purchaser.
