Up for sale is a vintage stainless steel screw back waterproof Movado chronograph mans wristwatch. I believe this watch was made in the late 1940's or in the 1950's. The watch is 35mm in diameter, not including the crown or pushers, and takes an 18mm strap. The case is in good condition with only some minor scuffs. The case back has some marks from a strap an a slight dent. The upper chronograph pusher shows some wear. T...he silver dial appears to have been refinished long ago. The 17 jewel movement is running and chronograph functioning as it should. I don't know when it was last serviced, so it may be in need of a cleaning. The watch has a brand new genuine leather strap which is not Movado. While this watch was waterproof when it was made, I DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT IS WATERPROOF ANYMORE, 70 years later.
