Vintage Craftsman 6” metal lathe still brand new in the crate. This is a model 101.21400, and it is very rare to find this vintage lathe in this condition. This package of lathe and parts (all are new): Palmgren vice, Compound XY cross slide table, steady rest, follower rest, milling vices, milling attachment milling cutter holder, milling cutter holding assembly, milling attachment (cutting key ways, slots, dove tails, squaring shafts..holds work any angle), RH turning t...ool holder, cutting off tool holder, turning tool holder, knurling tool holder, threading tool holder, LH turning tool holder, boring tool holder, chuck 3 jaw 4” 10 thread, chuck 4 jaw 4” 10 thread, universal cutting stand, tripod holding vice, angel vice with swivel base, bushings, gears, 35-40 cutting bits, and other misc. new accessory parts for this model lathe. The motor is a ½hp 1725 rpm Franklin Electric which is rpm spec for the lathe according to the manual and detailed guide which are included. I am personally not knowledgeable about this lathe and accessories, but have had a machinist to help me with some descriptions.Looking up the rough value of this lathe and parts online and on Ebay suggests a total value of over $6, 000.00. These are all vintage brand new, almost all still in original boxes. Quite a find, and can be sold only as a free pickup. Also, the brown you see on the lathe is heavy grease, not rust.
