This here is a flour bin for a Hoosier style cupboard . The sifter is intact and it has brackets for mounting. This style will tip out, towards you so you can fill it with flour, then tip back in .Usually, there was a door that closed in front of it.
The glass is in it. The lid opens and shuts just fine.
