Antique ivory silk bodice and skirt. AS IS condition with part of the bodice deconstructed, some stains, shattered lining in skirt, missing beads, torn lace. The bodice has thick padding at the front, underarm shields, stays, hook & eye closure at back, uniquely puffed fabulous sleeves, and lace flounce at sleeves (one section of lace coming off of sleeve needing reattachment). The shoulder area of the bodice is a taffeta type fabric and is shredding so this would need replacing if... you are reconstructing the piece. There are long silk chiffon ties or sashes that hang at the back and are connected with a soft ribbon buckle. Some stains at lower end of one sash. Originally the lace collar with flounce was on top of the bodice. Faux pearls in two tones with swags decorate the bodice overlay. The collar itself appears good but the lace yoke below it has extensive damage. A few holes in the flounce.The skirt has a brown stain on the lace panel at front, missing or hanging beads. There is also a brown stain at the lower back or side of skirt that has caused the fabric to split. Lining is shattering. Some damage around the waist.So I have spent most of this listing telling you all about the damage!
