I have for sale a late model American Engraved Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone SN 217xxx. These late model Mark VI altos are some of the best bargains around because of their great sound, fast action, power, and good intonation. This particular alto is fairly rare in that it is American engraved with a high F# (whereas most Mark VI saxophones I've seen with high F# are special order European/French assembled). The lacquer is original and mostly intact (I'd estimate around 95%). The horn ...shows a few typical signs of use that are to be expected with a horn of this age such as scratches, lacquer wear, and some very minor dents/dings, but I do not see any signs of abuse or serious damage. The low Bb guard foot may have been resoldered at some point because the lacquer around it is slightly different (see pic). A previous owner also engraved his name and initials in the horn, but this is strictly cosmetic. Overall, the sax is very solid and in very good used condition.
Please review the photos for more details, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. US shipping and sales only. Be sure to check out my other listing for more great saxes. Thanks for looking!
