All Information is true and factual recently polished and inspected by my jeweler.This is a heavy beautifully etched vintage platinum and diamond lorgnette in the Art Deco period with a wheat design that was and is so popular for that time period. The mechanism snaps open with ease and is of the highest quality platinum and... diamond embellished lorgnette pendant each diamond is flashy with bright old mine cut brilliant white diamonds with larger tables as is common with vintage diamonds of this caliber. no visual flaws to the naked eye and none using my magnifier, these are very nice diamonds the handle has a ring that is meant for a necklace however chain is not included with this piece this is indeed a museum quality piece that very few can own. Hurry before I change my mind and keep this one for myself.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The latch clicks like new and the platinum is of the highest quality PT950 and was recently polished fully hallmarked and verified by a jeweler to be authentic and true vintage. The workmanship is amazingly accurate with few signs of age on the mechanism. Lenses have some scratches and appear to be reading lenses my guess a 2.5 or less
