This auction is for a Vintage Prewar Lionel O Gauge No.259E Gun-Metal Gray Steam Engine and No.2689TX Tender. It was made between 1938 and 1939. It is in Very Good to Excellent condition with some paint lost on the cow catcher.It is very clean and it is complete and 100% original.It has been tested and it runs and tracks great and the E-unit works and the headlight works.It is all metal and it measures 16-3/4" long with the tender attached.It comes with the original boxes that are... worn.The engine box is taped closed at one end and the flaps are loose at the other end and a small inner flap is missing and the cardboard insert is missing.The tender box is missing all the flaps except for one that is taped on.See Pictures Below.NO RESERVE.
