True Line Trains HO Canadian National U2g 4 - 8 - 4 Northern Steam Locomotive RARE
Item History & Price
Condition: This is hands down the most amazing Plastic model I have ever seen and this one appears as though it has never even been ran (before I test ran it thoroughly) and the only reason I thought maybe it had been set on display is that there was a tiny amount of dust on it in a couple spots but other than that you are looking at a train that looks and runs the same as when it was first produced! Now, again I did thoroughly test this one though in Both DC and DCC and it runs absolutely amazingly either way, and the sound is absolutely second to none that I have ever heard before in a model train! And the smoke is the same way, it is by far the nicest and most realistic Live Steam imitation I have ever seen in my entire life! Now, in regards to the live steam unit though, you actually turn it off and on by taking the rear sand dome off (as I pointed out in one of the pictures) and there is a small one off switch there that can be toggled! And as far as lighting goes, it really has nice lighting! It has both a directionally operating headlight and a directionally operating rear light on the rear of the tender, and furthermore it has a really neat LED Cab lighting that lights during startup and directional change (which was actually prototypical) but dims once it is in higher speed locomotion. Whats most neat is that when the cab light is on you can look through the windows and clearly see the interior with its Instruments & control panels and levers etc.! Also, this one includes the extra traction bands and the Alternatively geared Drive wheel and some other small detail part that originally came with this one. And also, it includes all the original paper work as well, including the certificate of authenticity, and comes in the nice Wooden True Line Platinum Wooden Box! Now, the only thing that I felt the need to point out in the pictures is the fact that the glue on one of the Cab windows (which actually slides open and close) shows some overglue on it but I believe it could have been that way from the factory as I seen a picture of another one of these online and it was the same way. And finally the box itself (which I show every side of in the last picture) does have some scrapes and scuffs probably from shelf wear and moving it around, but other than that you see what you get here and that is one super nice Steam Engine!Click HERE To See The Other Brass Model Trains I have listed!!
