This clock has a beautiful mahogany case which has a wonderful display look, it has a sliding removable hood with a glazed door and a split arch top with a brass eagle finial to the cente. The trunk has a hinged door with its lock and key in full working order. A fantastic South West style longcase clock which will look spectacular where ever it is displayedThe Clock Measures - 88.5 inches high (with eagle finial on) 86.5 inches high without the eagle finial x 19.75 inches wide x 9.75 inches deepDialThe clock has a beautiful hand painted arched dial which measures 17 inches high x 12 inches wide. The hand painted decoration is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition with a castle scene to the arch, the dial has a sub seconds and calendar dials to the centre which all work in accordance with the movementMovementThe clock has a 8 day bell striking movement with a sub seconds and calendar features, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking the bell as it should. The calendar turns over with the movement every 12 hours and is in full working order, it comes with its weights, pendulum and a inding keyCondition ReportThis clock is in good original condition but is missing a piece of moulding off the right hand side shoulder of the trunk but as you can tell is hardly noticable when on display and in full working order. This is a antique English Bath longcase grandfather clock with superb proportions dating to circa 1820. Dial
The clock has a beautiful hand painted arched dial which measures 17 inches high x 12 inches wide. This clock is in good original condition but is missing a piece of moulding off the right hand side shoulder of the trunk but as you can tell is hardly noticable when on display and in full working order.
