Hereis an antique cast made by John Tyrell himself of the famous PoniatowskiGems. Tyrrellpublished his collection of about 1200 gems in 1841, and republished aselection in 1857 and 1859 with early photographs:
Iwill be listing some of these in the coming weeks. These were cast over 150 yearsago and are in excellent condition with only minor marks on them. They allcontain the correct number to his database and have his signature and catmotif……some of the signatures are ...torn.
