Rare to find in a complete set, here is a beautiful Children's glass table set of "Bucket" aka "Wooden Bucket" produced by Bryce Brothers beginning in 1891. Children's glass expert Doris Lechler writes, "Not many complete clear glass Bucket sets survived unscathed from the turn of the (19th to 20th) century." Lechler goes on to classify this pattern as "rare." The set consists of a covered butter dish (2 3/8 in ht), a covered sugar bowl (3 3/4 in ht), a creamer (2 5/8 in ht) and a spoo...ner (2 1/2 in ht). Overall, the set is in excellent condition. Their is a tiny flea bite/roughness along the inside of the rim of the butter dish that is detected by feel and there is a small flea bite along the underside of the inner edge of the sugar lid. Neither of these small imperfections are visible when the lids are in place and neither detract from the display quality of the pieces. I note them for full disclosure purposes. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer set, if you can find one at all. These sets are rare and do not come along very often. Here is your chance to own a nice one. Don't let the opportunity pass you by!
