Victorian 9ct Gold Brooch with Airedale Terrier c1890
A stunning Victorian 9ct Gold 'Airedale Terrier Brooch', which is beautifully modelled with 360 degree detail. As expected the Brooch is stamped '9ct' on the reverse confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold (please study close up photographs, which form an integral part of the description)
This wonderful Antique Brooch is beautifully crafted in 9ct Gold with amazing detail -from the texture of the dog's ha...ir to the expression on it's face, the Goldsmith has managed to capture & recreate the beauty of this wonderful breed.
Overall the Brooch is in truly superb condition, with only the very lightest signs wear commensurate with having been a treasured piece of jewellery that was looked after carefully & rarely worn. The pin is slightly bent, as shown, but works perfectly and more mentioning for descriptive completeness.
