Solid carved Spruce top, maple sides & flamed maple back, mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard and bridge. Beautiful sunburst. Stenciled script logo. This one is rare with a beautiful flamed maple arched back (usually the sides and back were mahogany). The tone has more 'punch' than other L50's I've played, probably because of the maple back. The frets appear to be original, with some wear. Serial number is slightly visible on the inside back, but too worn to make out t...he numbers. Though the guitar was guessed as a 1936, it's safer to range it somewhere in the late 30s to early 40s. Condition: Good, well used, SOUNDS GREAT.Neck is stable & straight with very good action, some fret wear. There is a jack installed, but the pickup is no longer there. The jack remained, and can be used as a strap pin.2 repaired cracks in the top (coming off the topside F-hole)Plenty of wear (see photos), but structural this guitar is solid, lightweight and sounds very open and beautiful. Comes in used but good condition fitted Hiscox hardshell case.US buyers only, please.
