I am selling an antique composition doll body and including a free broken Simon and Halbig head, mold 1249 (Santa). The doll was very beautiful before she was accidentally broken. Her body had been restrung. I think repairs were made to both hands because the paint on the hands is a slightly different color from the body.
The original paint on her body shows some wear, especially around the neck, shoulder, and knee joints. The composition could use a c...leaning, especially on the back. The body is about 24" long and the shoulders about 7" wide.
The broken head is about 5.5 inches long and 4 inches wide. There are two large pieces of the head and many small pieces of china. Photo #9 shows a large broken piece fitted into the head. The face is mostly intact. See photographs.
I have eyes that fit the head and could list them if someone wants to repair the head. Please let me know if you have questions or need more photographs.
