Another lovely IDEAL doll is for sale! As all us baby boomers and doll collectors know, this is the lovely Patty PlayPal doll from the late 1950’s - 1960’s. She is in lovely condition and originally dressed.
This vintage Patty has thick blonde, curly short hair with a center part and bangs, in very good co...ndition. Her sleep eyes are breathtaking and work properly. They are such a pretty shade of deep blue with very thick dark lashes framing them. Her complexion is gorgeous! She has a lovely shade of lip color with matching blush in beautiful condition.
Patty is appropriately marked on her neck and back. She can hold a pose and stand on her own; however, she will arrive at her new home with a white doll stand ~ as a bonus!
The dress she is wearing is original. It is in very good condition. I seldom see this particular dress and pinafore, let alone in the terrific condition it’s in. It is a delicate shade of blue with white stripes and a white organdy Peter Pan collar. The dress has buttons up the back and a sewn in slip. The pinafore is lovely - so delicate and in great shape. It is trimmed with pink and blue ric/rac across the bodice with three flower cluster appliqués, very sweet. The pinafore has button up the back together with a long sash that ties in a bow. Patty’s shoes are original with one strap that has broken off. Her socks I replaced and although the elastic on her panties is stretched out, they are original.
