Vintage Jaeger-Le Coultre Solid 18 Karat Gold Cased Manual Wind Tank WatchThis is a lovely all original example of these much sought after prestigious watches and in fabulous cosmetic condition. The solid 18k gold case is in very nice condition and the white/champagne dial is in excellent condition with a lovely warmth. It is powered by a manual winding signed movement and it is working very well.DialThe sunburst champagne dial is untouched and in excellent condition. It has gold col...oured batten hour markers and Le Coulture logo.
Hands The Gold tone hour and minute hands are in excellent condition. CaseThe solid gold Hallmarked case is in very good condition and looks larger on the wrist than the 26mm width. It has not been polished and still retains its sharp edges. It is in very good condition for its age but does have very minor marks and knocks from wear over the years. Case BackThe original 18k gold case back still fits tightly and is fully Hallmarked and stamped. Crown The watch has a small tarnished crown that change the time and winds the watch smoothly. MovementThe watch case houses a signed manual winding movement. It is currently working but has not been time tested due to the stem being lose and not wishing to cause damage to the watch. As with all vintage watches it would benefit from regular servicing to maintain accurate time keeping and functionality. CrystalThe watch has the original plexi-glas crystal. It is in good condition with no major scratches or marks. It has been polished during its life to remove scratches and to keep it looking clear. BandThe watch is hung on a new old stock 19mm black leather band with a gold coloured buckle. Please note this is a vintage watch and is in original condition. As with all period pieces it would benefit from a service and regular servicing to keep it running smoothly.
