Rare but not perfect, this antique Teco Pottery "Roman Salad Bowl" dates to 1906. Marked on the base and two feet, it has a matte green exterior and gloss white interior. Measuring 6" tall and 11.5" wide, there is a replaced chip on one side of the rim. There is a bit missing at the rim with a small, tight hairline. It also has a tiny glaze nick at the base of one of the feet. There is a faint mineral ring near the bottom of the interior. Impres...sive and heavy, this piece was a feature of the Gates Potteries Christmas ad campaign of 1906. Please see all of the photos as they are a big part of the description.
