This is a nice example of this Marantz 2285B Receiver
P...ower cable was cut--- So it will need a simple rewire
I was able to quickly test it: All indicator lights coming on, Picking up FM stations, all buttons/knobs working... Looks like ONE of the display lightbulbs is burnt out...
Missing 2 knobsDent on the underside (it not touching any of the electrical inside, just a dent)
Otherwise in VERY GOOD ConditionI removed MOST, but not all dust under the hood... would benefit from a little more cleaning...
The tuner wheels feels great... The lines are in perfect health.. NO need to replace...
If your into restoring vintage electronics, this should be a relatively easy and inexpensive job..Please, if you are more like myself and just want plug-and-play performance out of the box, consider buying a different one.... That being said, this device will most likely need at least a little attention to get back to working perfectly...
Nice and Clean overall.. NO significant cosmetic flaws to point out NO rattling or loose pieces This will be CAREFULLY packed and shipped out FAST--I know how to PROPERLY ship vintage stereo equipment.
