Up for your consideration is an antique collectors dream 925 sterling silver Turquoise Navajo Concho belt. Weighing a whopping 210 grams this is an unstamped belt but tested 925 silver. Please note this is not plated silver but genuine 925 sterling silver and was tested with both acid magnet and electronic coin tester from a gold and silver shop. This lovely Concho belt is from the early 1930's.Each Concho link has been intricately stamped embellished with bezel set Turquoise bord...ered with stylized bear claws and finished with scalloped trim. The oval Concho links are slightly domed and accented with smaller fanned links. This belt previously had heavy patina but was polished to reveal the intricate details. The Turquoise cabochons are all intact in the bezels that have been clearly molded to fit the free form or irregular stones. Some of these stones are dark while others are faded. One of the stones has a surface inclusion on it but none of the stones are loose. The craftsmanship and intricate stamping of this original piece is amazing.Length of belt if 43".
