This is an original antique cast iron music themed piano bench featuring lyres on each side. The upholstery is probably not original but is is old. The original black and gold paint is intact on the frame.
The entire bench is in very good condition with only minor light wear. The upholstery is off white slightly glossy satin with very faint embroidered pastel flowers. There are some faint stains on the top of the seat and some dirty streaks on the sides, probably from storage. The u...pholstery binding along the bottom edge is slightly frayed at a couple corners, but there are no obvious holes, tears, or loose ends.
The frame is sturdy and solid and nothing is cracked, broken, or repaired. There is some minor wear to the finish including chips, scuffs, and scratches, and some worn spots with minor surface rust, especially at the feet. The frame is marked OWI 106 on both legs. All pieces easily screw together and will be disassembled, packed securely, and fully insured during shipping. Assembled dimensions are 20 1/2" L x 11 1/2" W x 15 1/2" H.
