This clock has an absolutely beautiful rare highly carved case which has a wonderful display look, it has a sliding removable hood with a glazed door. The trunk has a hinged door with its lock and key in full working order. This is a very rare fantastic longcase clock which will look spectacular where ever it is displayedThe Clock Measures - 89 inches high x 19.25 inches wide x 11.5 inches deepDialThe clock has a stunning arched brass and silvered dial which measures 16 inches x 11.5 inches. The dial has a silvered chapter ring with engraved roman numerals and a sub seconds and calendar dials to the centre which all work in accordance with the movement. The dial is signed on the silvered boss in the arch by the maker George Stevens of Hindon C1749MovementThe clock has a 8 day bell striking movement with a sub seconds and calendar features, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking the bell as it should. The calendar turns over with the movement every 12 hours and is in full working order, it comes with its original weights and pendulumCondition ReportThis clock is in great original condition and in full working order.
