This is a paper craft 1:12 scale of the antique LOUIS VUITTON trunks in the Art Frame series of ‘THREE-DIMENTIONAL HISTORICAL PICTURE-STORY SHOW about the ROMAN AND BEAUTY of 100 YEAR'S LONG JOURNEY’ made by Garret museum and exhibit in 2014, in Tokyo (see photo before last one).We, Garret museum show the one scene at that time when these trunks had traveled, with THREE-DIMENTION paper setting and paper craft trunks as a player in a box with wood frame figured like a trunk.&nb...sp; As to say, in this series, over a time and space, we’d like to invite you traveling with our paper craft old trunks in the period of the first half of 20C. – the belle, brilliant, roaring, revolutionale and dark, cruel ・・・・・, should be a page in the history. Box size : 21w x 29.7h x 10d cm 8.3w x 11.7h x 3.9d inch about 1.2kgThis piece is named ‘Hello! ORIENT!' from the POSTER 1888.Orient Express by Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits/Belgium from 1883, between Paris and Constantinople, at first. The curtain between east and west had been opened drastically.
Brown trianon canvas trunk /33h x 112w x 56d cm with L.V. label of 454 Strand London, very large characteristic label with many medals on it . with key and paper lining.
Steamer trunk raye finished /29h x 62w x 37d cm L.Vuitton produced a new trunk 1858 – inspired from a dress box he worked for, devised flat lid, varnished canvas, to increase the waterproof and lightened . This trunk is finished in RAYE.
Old black bag tiga like finished /25h x 38w x 23d cm Vivid red leather lining and golden L.Vuitton stamp.The craspshows the special design and technique of that era.
Leather suitcase trunk / 42w x 12d x 17h mm 1.7 x 0.5 x 0.7 inchart nouveau style key hole, sold for a very short period. Port api – suit case had released at exhibition 1889. has the many mark of cigarrete.
You can put this frame on wall, too. This is an Artist working. Graduated from an art college of JAPAN, worked a few years at the famous architectural studio Milan, ITALY, after serving as a development officer at a JAPAN branch of Italian furniture company, Tokyo for several years.
Running an Industrial design studio for 35 years, IDIC – Industrial Design Interactive Collaboration, JAPAN. as you can see on the Web, working for many Japanese leading companies of Camera maker, Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, IT terminal product, etc.. Meanwhile he collected many articles as the design and development materials, had the exhibition many times and you can see them on youtube, too.
