Older man said he had it for many years. I believe the wood to be oak. Outstanding patina to finish. Cow horns are VG with none of the usual pif holes. 22" in length by 13.5" at the widest area. 7/8" thick wood. Has a small split in wood at bottom. I could have fixed but thought it just added charact...er. You decide. Mirror glass is Ok but may be a replacement from years past. Cigar box part for backing on mirror.(see pic) 2 screws have been replaced on the back some year ago. (see pic) Some settled dust/dirt to finish with tiny paint specs to finish and a little paint to back edge. Very Old. My guess is circa late 1800s or early 1900s.
