This unique Vintage ring is made of 14 Rose Gold and a realEmerald, and appears to be hand-made from the Soviet Union. The gold is acid-tested and is a lighter shade of rose gold. The naturalemerald is approx. .71 ct, hand-cut, approx. 6.96 mm by 6.89 mm and has normal inclusionsthat are seen only with magnification. The stone is wrapped on the sides ingold, with an opening underneath to let light in. The shank is simply-styledand had 2 decorative gold balls at the ends that exten...d past the stone. Theshank is simply styled with a rounded edge. The outside bottom of the shank ismarked ‘M * 583’ and ‘.7M10’. The * Star shape has a hammer & sickleinside, notating this piece is from the Soviet Union; combined with the styletells us this ring was made in the 1920s – 1930s. Weight is 1.89 Grams.
