Here's a rare German tin penny toy in superb condition for your collection...This 3 wheel motorcycle and rider is in great condition. All original paint - never touched. It is, I believe, a lithographed tin motorcycle with elaborate details. The cycle is marked "CKO" on one side of the tank, and has the number "96" on the other side of the tank. It is also marked "Made in Germany" on one side behind the rider's right leg. This toy is not dented, cracked or... otherwise damaged. Circa 1910, this toy shows normal signs of its age, and although I'm no toy expert, I would still say it is in very, very good condition.There is some minor rust on both sides of the front wheel, and there is some minor paint loss from wear on the rear wheel, otherwise it is fine. The rider / motorcyclist is super! He's wearing goggles, and the paint is remarkable. The details of his pinstripe jacket and pants with pockets, buttons and boots is superb. This is a rare find, and will certainly enhance anyone's toy collection.
