For your consideration I have a beautiful vintage Dy Dee Baby Doll who measures 20” long. She dates back to the 1940’s and is in very good vintage condition. Her head is very hard plastic and her body is rubber. Her body for the most part has remained soft and supple - st...ill squeaking when her limbs are moved. Her chest and back are also in good shape. Her right arm has some dryness as does her left ear. Nothing that will take away from her appearance.
When you shake or move this baby you can hear something lose inside her. I never attempted to find out what it is for fear of damaging her. Again, this too does not at all distract from her beauty.
She will arrive at her new home with a few things. A really lovely, feminine pink dress with an embroidered daisy design across the bodice, pink socks, a cotton diaper, a vintage rubber white diaper w/snaps, a pink onesie, a white eyelet ruffled slip, and a pale yellow one piece hooded sweater. Also included is an organdy pink dress - in need of an ironing!, a yellow dotted Swiss dress that may or may not be original and finally a long, white vintage gown that she’ll be wearing for her trip home.
