This is a teapot in the Fruit Basket pattern by Metlox of California. The Fruit Basket pattern was produced approx. from 1961 to 1986. This hand painted teapot holds 1 quart of liquid (4 cups). It's in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing, however there are tea stains on the inside of the teapot (see 8th photo-I cleaned the teapot throughly before listing, I just couldn't get all the tea stains out). The mark on the underside reads "Vernon Ware by Metlox, Made in Calif...ornia".
