Vintage/Antique "Hastings & Co."-Philadelphia, Pa.+Oscar Schlegel-New York- LARGE AMOUNT-GOLD LEAF SHEETS being sold as found in an old dry building over 35 years ago. I have always wanted to find the best way to use this gold leaf and never happened. It measures roughly 2 7/8 " +/- tall and the outer edge is 4" x 4" square roughly. Some of the old thread wrapping came apart (as pictured) and some are just like back in the days(cut some threads to take pictures of the gold leaf she...ets). My opinion over 1, 500 sheets based on the height and the bundled packs I'm thinking 500 sheets each, but could be more. You be the judge and base your decision of purchase on the photos or your knowledge. There is no way to count every sheet and I do not want to open original early packaging. This gold leaf sheets lot will be shipped with signature required and insured.
