Vintage Technics Quartz SL-Q2 Direct-Drive Automatic Turntable (needs stylus)
Condition: Used, very good.
Once CDs were on the market, this turntable and my LPs went into storage (about 30 years ago) where it has been until now!
When using it, this was in a smoke free, pet free environment and when stored, those factors plus climate controlled, dark, storage unit environment kept it clean and well maintained (except for the stylus which was a recently thing).
Please review... all photos carefully as I am selling this AS IS at a price I feel is extremely fair based on same model turntables of varying condition ratings.
Recently told needs stylus so even though there is a stylus (no needle) with the Technics housing module being shipped, the needle is missing. I don't know exact technical info but what I do know is it requires an investment of time and a replacement piece from the soon to be (I hope) new owner.
I can find only TWO of the original spring loaded shock absorbent feet for this. There is a third one missing the spring. The fourth is M.I.A. Will ship three to you.
Includes counterbalancing weight, Technics stylus housing (I think that's what it's called), mat, 45 adapter, quiet slow raising and lowering plastic cover.
Plastic cover has some expected surface scratches given its age.
The hinges are secure and in perfect working order.
Some slight surface blemishes in a couple of spots around edge of turn table and on grey frame in some area.
Everything else seems to be working smoothly.
I am selling this AS IS. I do not profess to be an audiophile or expert on turntable specs.
I am hoping someone sees a great deal and enjoys this era of turntables and enjoys all facets of audio equipment etc.

Packed properly (if you have advice about HOW to pack this, please let me know in advance and I will do my best to do so) but it will be in a new box and full of shock absorbent light weight material to anchor it and its parts properly.
