Dave The Slave Edgefield Pottery Jar Alkaline Glaze Jug W/ Beautiful Handles. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Beautiful David Drake Storage Jar. Super heavy. Piece has magnificent style lug handles as one of Dave’s classics traits. Although his work styles changed over the years. It’s been a huge blessing following him as with his work. Amazing stories behind this potter. This piece is 15 1/2” in height and close to 15” in width. Huge jar. The rim has been repaired. From wh...at I understand it was turned again by a potter who took what was remaining of the top half of the rim and turned the rest so it’s not as restored. Instead it is real clay added and turned and Glazed/Colored. I have a picture of the rim before for you to see if interested in this piece.
