Large horse pendant necklace, Navajo made, of some carved jasper I believe. The stone has some natural feathers that go across the grain of the stone, but it is not apparently damaged or otherwise insecure. Chain measures 24" long and 4mm tall. Pendant measures 2-3/4" tall, 2-3/4" at widest point and 3/8" at deepest point. Stone horse measures 1-1/2" tall and 2-3/16" at widest point. Stamped-STERLING. Weight-68.5 grams. In good vintage condition.

In 2010, I was a manager for a business in Chicago. I was completely unhappy and stuck. I finally reached my breaking point and my boss agreed to hold my job for 3 months. I headed to the Big Island of Hawai'i to live on a farm and plant trees.I didn't know it then, but I would end up staying on the Big Island for a full year. Finally living my dreamAfter 7 months, I left the safety of the farm and camped on the island's beaches, living out of my backpack. I woke up every morning with no destination. I followed the beauty of the island and trusted my intuition. Hitchhiking became a way of life. When a stranger does something nice for you, it makes you think the whole world is kind-hearted. Imagine starting each day that way, it's a wonderful way to live. And that's where the "ThumbOut" eBay name comes from. You never know which car will be your ride, so Keep your thumb out! The most powerful adventure was my solo journey to see flowing lava. Under a full moon I walked 3 miles over jagged lava fields under a full moon. I reached the live flow at 1am and watched as new earth poured out of the ground. Seeing lava in real life has been a childhood dream. Once I got a taste of this kind of adventure, I never went back to my old way of living. But I wasn't sure what was next for me...
TodayI now split my time between Thailand and the US, and I haven't had a boss in years! Location independent income started out as a distant dream that is now a reality. My dad taught me this business, and my mom works as my business partner, taking all these beautiful photos and shipping your orders.
