This auction is for a very rare and really nice antique table lamp. The old lamp has a Rookwood pottery vase base and the vase was made in the 1920s. When I take the base off you can see the markings and it's actually signed by the artist as well with an incised mark. The original Marshall Field label is there too, and it's dated 1921. The vase has a gorgeous image of flowers hand painted and a yellow background. Just the vase measures about 8.75" tall and the vase is in excellent condition but ...it does have some crazing due to age and a scuff of black at one point that should come off with a little work. Really nice piece! Needs a shade. The vase was drilled and if feels really heavy so it might be filled with sand or something. Guaranteed as described!
