Vintage The Fisher 250 TX Receiver Partially Tested Works Parts Repair See Notes. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.From estate sale, as found. Found in an outdoor shed/workshop with other vintage gear.Piece is dusty/dirty with spotting on metal areas, but plastic parts appear to be solid. **note the original power cord has been severed and a different cord has been twisted/taped on**Tested briefly and partially. I don’t have other equipment to connect, so I was only able to test via t...he headphone jack with some earbuds and an adapter. Surprisingly, I was able to tune to FM and also AM stations with normal sound quality in both left and right channels once I attached an old tv antenna (not included). The “preset” buttons/dials also seem to work properly; I was able to tune stations using all five of them, and switch back and forth to the main dial using the bottom right control. The signal bar also appeared to move normally when tuning. I could also hear an audio quality difference when using the mono button, so I’d like to think these FM stations are tuning in stereo.Volume, tone and balance controls seem to work properly. Loudness button also seems to work.Only one lamp appears to light behind the faceplate, see photo.**again, I did not check any of the other inputs for phono or aux, and I did not attach any external speakers, so I cannot confirm the working state of these functions**I did not disassemble or remove the cabinet/cover. Selling as-is.If you can address the obvious condition issues then this is a respectable vintage receiver with potential ;-)Please ask questions as I do not accept returns unless I made an error.
