Beautiful 1930's Bernard Instone brooch in a foliate form, composed of silver with faceted amethyst and white sapphire or rock crystal stones, and what appears to be chalcedony or quartz cabochons that have been backed to look like star sapphires. The pin measures 2 1/8" long. It is marked on the back "Silver B.I", it is very unusual to find a piece that is marked rather than just attributed. In overall very good vintage condition.
